“For me, success is the result of many small steps and actions. Every day is the right day to get started.“

Personal aspects

What profession would you like to learn today?

Definitely make-up artist! I like to experiment with make-up and unfold my creativity. Make-up can express and effect so much and that's what I love about it.

What does the perfect start to the day look like?

Every day starts with a delicious coffee and good music to wake me up. To have enough energy for the day, I like to make a smoothie - preferably from a banana, strawberries, blueberries and blackberries. Simply delicious and healthy as well.

What do you value most in your friends?

Their loyalty and reliability. I can rely on them 100% - that's a nice feeling. I also appreciate their honesty. They let me know when I'm going into something that’s not right or when they have a very different view on something. Then we can talk openly about it and find a solution.

What has been your greatest adventure in life?

That was definitely my three-month stay abroad in Malta. As fate would have it, it was the coldest winter for centuries. We had everything from icy temperatures to hurricanes and meter-high waves. Heating – no chance! ... So what did we do? We warmed up with candles and covered ourselves with blankets! Necessity is the mother of invention!

What is your motto when it comes to work?

New day - new opportunity! Everything that I could have done yesterday I can do today. I am always grateful for the many opportunities to learn something new and to develop myself further. Life is a never-ending journey!

What book has had a lasting influence on you?

Becoming by Michelle Obama. In my opinion, she is one of the greatest women. She has shown so much courage and strength, was a first lady at the side of her husband and at the same time a great mother and wife who never lost sight of her dreams. That impressed me very much. You can be so much if you want! Everything is possible if you believe in yourself.

When are you inspired by a training event?

I find it particularly inspiring when participants jump over their shadows and open up. Sometimes it's hard to talk about your own problems in everyday work. The moment when they come up with an idea for a solution together is priceless. Often they already have the solution. Multiple-brain thinking is always helpful, no matter what the problem is.

What is your nicest childhood memory?

There are so many. Since my family owns several farms, I spent a lot of time there as a child. I loved being in the fresh air and being with the animals. I especially liked the moments when the animals got offspring. For me it was a magical moment when a little calf or piglet was born and I was allowed to be there.
