With clear principles to a stronger WE

Consistency and clarity are important topics in our transformation projects. This customer story shows why this is not at odds with humanity and cooperation.
A family business, a responsible and appreciative management, many actions and measures for the employees – and yet a bad feeling creeps in, communication between the different management levels is difficult and conflict-laden, negative employer reviews on the Internet are piling up. Movendo is commissioned to design and support a management development program. The concept is convincing because it focuses on dialog between the management levels. It quickly becomes clear that this dialog is a burden for everyone, with disappointments and misunderstandings blocking the way.
In training sessions with the management, we convey how patterns and communication influence a corporate culture.
We look at what the existing patterns are that make it difficult to work together. We find out that there is a desire and also entrepreneurial pressure to develop solutions and make decisions more quickly and holistically. Buzzwords such as “silo thinking”, “Sales determines everything here”, “We need clear decision templates.” are dropped. In training sessions with the other levels, there is a feeling of mistrust and disregard for their work by the management. We summarize the different perspectives and arrive at common principles that should guide the work.

We involve everyone in a decision on which they have an influence and whose perspective is important for a holistic solution.
In further training sessions, we delve deeper into how this principle affects daily work, how it is implemented sustainably and what consequences it has for cooperation, the meeting structure and working methods. We provide support in reflecting on previous collaboration, growing together as a team and being clear in your role as a manager. We repeatedly moderate the dialog between the levels. We train attentive listening, the desire to understand, the change of perspective and gain a completely new sense of WE. Change succeeds when everyone wants the same thing because it makes sense for everyone. That has been achieved here.
