#favouritemodels No. 20 – House of change – Renewal

After the “space of confusion”, people finally reach the “space of renewal” emotionally.
There is now finally clarity regarding the new situation and people have gained confidence in dealing with the new processes and behaviors. The atmosphere among them is full of energy in a positive sense.
Reaching this state is a pleasant experience for employees and teams and generates emotions such as relief, pride and motivation, which are expressed in a pronounced will to create. Now it is possible to bring the desired change to life! Typically, statements such as the following can be heard in the room of renewal:
- Now I understand!
- That was tough, but we are on the right track.
- Let’s make it happen!
- That is better than expected.
- We can become even better.
We experience employees who take responsibility and are prepared to take calculated risks. Their actions are characterized by enthusiasm, flexibility and creativity. There is increased communication, listening, delegation and the setting of new goals.
How does this #favoritemodel help you?
Use the positive atmosphere in the room of renewal to learn from your experiences together with your employees. Reflect together on what helped you to cope with this change and prepare yourselves for future innovations. Because one thing is certain in this day and age: the next change will probably not be long in coming.
During this phase, you can also raise your team’s awareness of the need to reflect regularly and learn continuously. There are opportunities here, for example, in
- The rotation of activities or work shadowing
- Conscious experimentation with problems in which mistakes and failures are explicitly used in order to learn from them instead of “punishing” them.
- The use of creative methods to think outside the box.
